Piper loves to go outside post rain because there are so many soft, muddy places to bury her bones. Her little paws and her little beak just get covered in mud; I have to have a towel right by the door so as to "catch" her right as she comes in--otherwise it's vacuum-city! Small effort in light of how much fun she has and how proud she is to have successfully buried yet another bone! I like your paver solution, wish I had that option! Below--Piper about ready to really start digging...
