Bills is 8 years old and 16 pounds. Diabetes gave him cataracts and I had cataract surgery done for him, unfortunately it was unsuccessful. Even as a blind dog he gets around just fine and is very happy. As a puppy he was not exceptionally easy to train compared to other Yorkies I have had but as he mellowed and learned more words he became very easy to train. After he lost his sight I taught him left, right, step up and step down all in a day. He already knew stop. When it comes to something he doesn't want to do he will look at me and I have to repeat the instructions then he lowers his head and does it as slow as possible but he does it. Maybe it is easier for me to train my dogs because I spend all day with them. My wife and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YORKIES & Bills is AMAZING! I hope you enjoy the pictures. I hope I can figure out how to post multiple pictures. They were too large or failed.
I hope you all love your Yorkies as much as they love you.

  Welcome to YT!

Sorry to hear Bill has become blind. But great to hear he is happy and gets around just fine. The training you've done with him sounds amazing. Made me happy to read about the love and bond you guys have. I also love my two Yorkies. Yorkies seriously are
the best!!

Your photos have to be less than 200 kb in size. If you're taking photos on your phone, you might need to change the settings of the photo quality. Or, there are phone apps and websites that can size down your photos. You can maybe try this one:
Free Online Picture Resizer - Crop and Resize photos, images, or pictures online for FREE!
Or it's possible that as a new member your posts don't show up right away, I think for the first 10 days.
By the way, next time you should start a new thread, so it's all about your baby. See picture below to find the "new thread" button.
