Quick update. I finally got the testing kit in and will be doing the cheek swab on Sophie tomorrow morning. The test has to be done at least two hours after eating so first thing in the morning seems like a good time. I will be sending it back express registered mail. The timeline for completing the test is 3-5 days after it's received back. The results are available online so I am hoping to have the results by end of next week.

Sophie has developed some tiny bumps on the back of her head that I will have looked at when she goes for her next vet visit on the 15th of this month. As I don't know if she is blue born I am going to try not to be too concerned about the skin bumps. I am aware that skin issues and infection in particular is a problem in blue borns but until I have the results I am pushing that concern away for now.

Well wish me luck with the swabbing, I am thinking it will be more like her chewing the swab as I desperately attempt to rub it on the inside of her cheek lol.

I will let everyone know as soon as the results are in. Fingers crossed
