Fabian did the same thing at the same age, as soon as it got REALLY cold outside. There was a change in household recently, so I think he's marking his territory now that the # of humans has changed. You're lucky about the poo: I'm finding "tootsie rolls" everywhere, no matter how often I take him outside. (He manages to poo on the run: no "hunching over" clues.) I just went out and bought a Bissell Heat Wet Vac today because I'm at my wit's end. so you are not alone!
On the upside, I've just taught him to go to his pen on command, so there's no more "Chase Me; You Can't Catch Me" in the AM before work. |
