I also trim mine's nails. I just take off a little bit (1/8 inch) every other week. The longer you let a nail grow the higher the blood line will grow so even if you need more off just take off small amounts slowly and the bloodline will pull back. You won't be able to see the bloodline on dark nails. You may want to have styptic powder on hand just in case you do clip too short or cornstarch works well too. |
