My Bailey is a watch dog... too much of the time. He'll growl when an airplane goes overhead and I live a couple of cities over from the airport but right in their path. I think I've finally realized why. I listened carefully to the plane noise and, to him, it may sound like a big growl. He's just warning this 'big' animal that he is here and is bigger than they are haha. Perhaps I can get him to wear earplugs
