I used to breed yorkies several years ago also. my fist female was 4 lbs and I breed her several times. first litter was four puppies. she did fine but after that she had C-sections. Would I do it again? HECK NO I now have a 4lb female that is 8 months old I've only had her for a week waiting for her to settle in and then I plan on getting her spayed. any female , any size, any breed CAN run into whelping problems. Have some $$$$ on hand for C-section if need be. good luck and keep us posted. |
