I voted also before I read the forums postings, we always had Dobermans up untill last March and to me ours were High Maintenance, boarding occasionally, many times cats coming into yard and oh boy, vet bills big time, however the cats then our one got bit by rattle snake that was a big time vet bill. Loved the Dobermans though and would have one today if hubby didn't have PD. I Can't say our Cassie was high maintenance, all the years we had her, she was so easy to take with us everyplace, she wasn't demanding but was right there whereever we was all the time. I did all her grooming. Baby Blessing is too young to really say. However when it comes to eating I would say she is high maintenance cause she is the pickest eater of any dog we have ever, ever had, and to the point that she has me so trained -----hand feeding her. Ugggggh which I gotta figure out how to break this habit. I think I have bought every very good food availeable. I voted and thought the maintenance question was regarding expenses incurred in having one, so therefore I voted low maintenance. The love and attention I don't consider maintenance, to me those are just the many joys and pleasures that they give to us and we to them in return. Gosh, be it low or high maintenance yorkies are the most precious and worth it all. In fact we are now looking to get Baby Blessing a sister.
