Kiki would go up but he would not go down. I did not train him to go down specifically. He is 6 months now and just recently became very comfortable with going down the stairs. Now that he knows how to go down he stays under my heels. In time he will get comfortable with using them. They are just scared and don't realize that they can do it, oh, but after they find out they can, it's all over!
