She's being trained; Resource guarding was something that she was doing and was trained out of it. it's been since I've been sick. She'll post herself before any one, but we've noticed that the sicker I get (once with a high fever) the more she'll do it. Trainer is confident that we'll get her over this hump. As for the puppy trainer has been spoken to, even that far in advance we'll be doing some one on one. She's great with other dogs, but, as for the pointing, it just shows that she needs training. It's cute, but I'm aware what the instinct behind it is.
