awww, don't get frustrated...you had a legitimate question and i tried to answer it as far as I go...i keep it on hand, yes. I use it if i feel it nessecery if my vet on call agrees. Only then. Now on the other hand I would rather her administer if needed, but sometimes that is not an option if mom decides to go at 2 am. It's good to have a vet like mine who will actually answer the phone at that hour if needed and would get up and meet you at the clinic if it came to that. I feel confident enough to administer if she gives me the "go". My yorkies are my children and I would never give them anything that I was not 100% confident and experienced with in the first place.
