Does the new diet your vet prescribed for the calcium oxalate crystals have chicken in it? If that's a problem, and you don't mind cooking home made meals for your dog, you might try out www.balanceit.com. They create customized recipes and provide the necessary supplements for dogs with multiple health conditions. They do have recipes for dogs with calcium oxalate crystals that are chicken-free. These diets are by prescription only. Maybe you can ask your vet at your next appointment. If you do, let us know what your vet says.
