That second article you mentioned is depressing, isn't it? I have seen every one of those conditions. Only one was a case that was not with me...I have had experience with all of the others.

The specialist told me that often PLE and PLN are seen together which was the case with one of mine.....that is why I wondered if PLN is perhaps more common in yorkies than is known. PLN can go undiagnosed for some time (years) unless people are really good about going to a vet yearly and doing blood and urine testing. My vet told me the reason I see so much is because I look for it. At first I didn't understand what he meant...LOL I thought he was saying I wanted it... he meant that I do the necessary testing.
