Lissen, y'all. About 3:30a.m. when I am crawling out of the bed to see why one of the moms is digging around and puppies are crying and I am trying to be super quiet so I will not wake up the 10 sleepers downstairs (Lordy are their barks loud in the middle of the night!) and frantically unrollling bedding, I would open the front door and hand them out to you...You know I am joking but for anyone who does not know, I have a horrible back problem and have an implant to help control pain and spasm and I take a pharmacy load of meds to get any sleep. About the time the pain pills, sleeping pills, anti-acid pills and all that kicks in, the babies get started.
It does break up one's night to say the least, but I would not have missed these last few litters!!! |
