I assume that you're referring to all dog vaccinations, including rabies. I found an article about vaccinations in Canada, and it's fascinating. Evidently, neither the Canadian government nor the provincial governments require vaccinations for dogs, despite the high prevalence of rabies in Canada. Here is a good article about rabies vaccinations in Canada:
RABIES REVACCINATION FOR COMPANION ANIMALS: CANADIAN DATA | SIRIUS DOG .
Having seen the effects of rabies and distemper on humans and animals respectively, I'm thankful that the US has core vaccine requirements. Dogs coming to the US from Canada are required to show proof of vaccination (thankfully), and I'd recommend that people traveling to Canada from the US make sure their vaccinations are up to date before traveling. (There is another thread on Yorkietalk about someone traveling by airplane to Saskatchewan.)
