I sent an email to the Wellness pet food company and asked them two questions: Is Wellness Core Grain Free Small Breed Dog Food manufactured in their Mishawaka, Indiana pet food plant (a new state of the art facility), and do they have veterinary nutritionists on staff? The answers to these questions are: (1) Yes, Wellness Core is manufactured in Mishawaka, Indiana, and (2) They have a Ph.D. Animal Nutritionist as well as a veterinarian on staff. I was pleased with their answers, so I remain a Wellness Core fan. Attached is a copy of their reply to me.
