Taylor the OP never said the dog was showing aggression,

Lately our 7 month old Dixie has been giving us attitude. Will this change after we get her spayed?

Dixie shows great displeasure when she doesn't get her way. Lots of separation anxiety. If my husband or myself leave or go outside she gets very upset. Otherwise very affectionate. Loves kids and big dogs. She is only 2 1/2 lbs..

Nothing mentioned about aggression.

OP needs advise on anxiety, and training technics for not being demanding.
