Once you get the systemic cortisol decreased (ie, meds titrated to control cortisol), there will be a huge decrease in skin / ear issues. However, you will/may still see breakthrough skin infections nonetheless - for which I always used Simplicef x 28 days.
This is the rough part....that stage of titration....bc it takes such time, ugh... | We went for the antibiotic shot because she is on so many pills and she hates taking antibiotics.
