 Shorkie with a double coat
Hi! I am a newbie with a 12 week old Shorkie. I have a question regarding her coat and if someone had something similar with their pup and how their hair/coat has grown out. I spontaneously bought her without doing much research. I knew I wanted a shorkie and like both coats of the Yorkie and Shih tzu so I thought I couldn't go wrong. I've had her for a few weeks now and I'm noticing she is not as fluffy as the other shorkies I've seen. I thought since she was young it would just come with time, but the other shorkies her age have much more hair than she does. It looks like she has an undercoat from the shih tzu and the top coat of the yorkie but it is sparse. What do you all think her hair will look like as an adult? Has anyone had a dog with similar puppy hair?! |
