I agree that self-diagnosing a dog is not a good thing to do. When Bella first started getting gray hairs on her head as her adult coat came in, I thought she was going bald, and I panicked, thinking that she might be blue born. It turns out that she *looked* like she was going bald because the new hairs were lighter in color and silkier. I didn't have her tested--I just did some reading and found out this was normal.
