I wish I could offer you more than "have patience". Yes it takes a while for the babies to grasp it early on with crate training during the day if you're not home to take out every hour.

When I worked outside the home, I would come home at lunch (that's the 4-5 hour mark). Use this rule of thumb for however old the puppy is in months think thats how many hours they can hold their pee. At 14 weeks the puppy is just over 3 months so your puppy will most likely have an accident at 3 hours.

Consistency on potty time is key as once the puppy's learn the routine they won't have to or feel comfortable in using it in their crate.

A lot of people work outside the home and its totally possible to have a yorkie and potty train them, it just takes a lot longer. It look my first yorkie 18 months and my current yorkie about 8 months (that shorter time as because I work from home).
