I believe your statement is misleading to any new member into thinking buying a puppy that weighs 2 pounds is ok as long as it is not advertised as a tiny, or teacup yorkie. There only one size yorkie and that is standard. That is why reputable breeders breed for the "standard" size 5 to 7 pounds, not 1 to 7 pounds. Lets not mislead any new member who may come upon this thread to think a 1.2 pound puppy is considered "standard" in size. And I did read " Yorkshire Terrier Club of America" it says not to exceed 7 pounds but does not say 7 pounds and under is considered "standard".
Wording on threads are very important to new members.
Here is the description from "Yorkshire Terrier Club of America"
Weight...Must not exceed seven pounds.
And that is that, NOT TO EXCEED 7 pounds, again, It does NOT say 7 pounds and under is standard yorkie size.
