Actually to show, the standard is 7 pounds or less, but the fact is a 4 or 5 pound Yorkie will have a difficult time finding a judge who will award them the points needed to finish. Judges have their own biases in the areas of weight, color, gate, top line, etc. that will make a difference with how a pup does.
