Default Reddish brown spots in silver fur

Joni has very light silver hair - the longer it gets, the lighter it gets.

We recently noticed a reddish brown patch of hair (smaller than a dime) on her back, between her shoulder blades. No broken skin, no rash, no itching. Puzzling.

Today, outside in the sunshine, I noticed another smaller patch a little further down her spine.

Looks like hair dye but no possible way that could have happened.

She is 4, very healthy (recent vet check), no excessive drinking. She's been a bit hungrier lately but she gets lots of exercise. She's acting fine and very playful along with her normal sassiness.

Of course I see Cushing's when I do a google search. I've lost a Boston to Cushing's so I think I'd recognize the symptoms ().

Any ideas?
