Our lil guy in the 10 years we were blessed to be with him has never licked anyone's face. I have tried and tried again to get him to lick my face over the years but he'd just turn his head away. He'd lick your arm from time to time but for some reason he just wasn't into face licking. I honestly can't recall one single time that he ever licked anyone's face. Is this unusual?
