I agree with the others that the puppy doesn't look like a purebred Yorkie. However, there was a case in 2013 where a Yorkietalk person had a puppy with a similar issue--short hair and didn't look like a Yorkie--and they had it genetically tested and it came back as a purebred Yorkie. The hair was short and dark, and never grew long and never lightened up in color. Here is that thread:
