Welcome to YT and thank you rescuing.
Killing toys lol, that's a yorkie thing lol. I had a pack of 3 girls now all passed. Any toys I bought lasted 10 minutes and de-squeaked in seconds, one or all would destroy the rest of it in no time. So they got chew things. At this time hooves were the "in" thing. My rescue boy kills his toys in the sense that he will throw and fling them around but has not destroyed one toy. I get all his toys in Pet Supplies or Pet Smart. He has a lot of soft rubber toys that make noise, but the squeakers are hard to get at. He also has a lot of cloth / furry, rag type squeaky toys. If you have not purchased toys at either one of these stores check out what the have. For chews I give him hooves and bully sticks, not the braided, I get the 12 inch size which will last a while, when it gets down to where he could swallow it whole I throw it away. My boy weighs 12 Lbs, so he's not a tiny. Do not buy antlers, they are to hard and could break teeth, they may be good for large dogs but not for small breeds. I had poodles before getting hooked on yorkies, lol, you cannot compare the two breeds. Yorkies are very energetic, they have tons of energy and get into lots of mischief lol. Keep toilet tissue, napkins, tissues, paper towels out of their reach, they LOVE to shred paper lol. Please keep us updated on her new life with you.
