Hi everyone! Glad I found this site. I rescued a Yorkie 2 days ago. I lost my last rescue (Sophie, mixed Terrier) in October. I named my sweet little one, Annabelle. Taking her to my personal vet tomorrow. The rescue said she was 2 years old. She looks like she had a recent litter (one or two pups?) and now she is still healing from her spay.
I am a little nervous. She is a bundle of energy. My first rescue was a toy poodle so I think I will do just fine! Just praying that my vet tells me she is healthy! She is potty trained outside. She is a sweet girl with just a few issues to work on. She growls when she sees new people. She also has shredded the 5 different toys I got her. I tried the King Extreme and she bit the rubber and ate a small piece. I don't think I will be able to find a toy for her which makes me sad because I know she likes to chew.
Sorry this is long. I am a new mom again and even though I have "experience", Annabelle and I are just getting to know one another.
I am very happy to have found this forum and I know I will find helpful info and receive great advice here. Nice to "meet" everyone!
