Another stone Our senior, Spenser, had his X-ray yesterday after having had bladder stones removed a year ago a week after we adopted him. They found one tiny one yesterday. He has been on vet. Prescription dog food since the surgery. No other foods have been given. On analysis the stones last year were determined to be calcium oxalate. The vet put him on an antibiotic until the tests she took are returned, saying a uti might have caused the growth of the stone.
I read bottled spring water can help. Is there anything else I can do to help the little man? Everything else was great. Liver enzymes were perfect. The complete exam went well until the X-ray.....
Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly.
By the way, little Max who had double luxating patella surgery with reop on left leg, was xrayed and he is perfect! His bounding through the yard confirms those results.
