In my area of Pa. Lyme vaccine must be given also. This past June Cody needed Distemper, Rabies and Lyme shots, The first visit he got his distemper shot, 2 weeks later he was to get the rabies shot, when I am fished with the vet a tech comes in to give Cody his rabies shot, before I could say anything he gave Cody a 2nd shot, I asked what vaccines did you just give my dog, he said rabies and lyme, I tell him I didn't want the lyme today, he tells me the dog needs a lyme vaccine, I tell him I don't do two vaccines in one visit, all I wanted was the rabies today in 2 weeks I was coming back for the lyme. Well the nx day Cody is listless, not himself, I call the vet and speak to a tech I am told some dogs get that reaction from the lymes and he will be fine in a day. Well, last year he got just a lyme shot and he was just fine. I was furious with the tech that gave him the rabies and lyme together.

That would anger me so much! Especially after specifically asking!
