I wish I knew!!! My dog has several beds including all our beds and couches and chairs! But now and again he will go under my bed for a while. I don't know if he feels free to do what he wants under there, out of our sight! Certainly isn't in fear for our case! Who knows what dwells in their minds???
I don't know if a pup may like to hide for pees etc, if he feels safer there. I thought that might be the case here, but not so. Hopefully she will grow out of it.
If I walk around he will come out and stay out, who knows?
