Did the vet do a specific Pancreatitis test, as the symptoms are very like my current dog had with the disease?
I had not heard of Prilosec being given to dogs before, just the oldie, Pepcid!
I thought the issue could be due to acid reflux, but the Prilosec should deal with that.
The original regimen your vet had your dog on, seems good for P. And certainly the diet was as usually prescribed. I did not see he was on Cerenia for vomiting though. However, as the symptoms continue, I wonder if perhaps there is something else going on with your poor baby's GI system. Hopefully others here will have some ideas as to what could be wrong before you visit the vet again. My previous Yorkie girl started with GI symptoms but was diagnosed with kidney failure and pancreatitis. So kidney function tests may be helpful too?
