I had to laugh through this whole thread. I personally have given up...if they want to eat it, it is less to pick up. I guess that is gross...but so be it.
They are dogs and do dog things. I have one that eats dirt .. I would rather he eat poop to be honest...it makes me crazy. I worry all the time he will get sick.
He goes to spots where there is no grass and if the ground is cracking, he takes that top layer and eats it like it is peppermint bark.
