I agree with the above suggestions...especially the camera. That way you can check from your phone during the day!
Also, yes to the dog walker once he has had all of his shots. Of course, if your friends will go there indefinitely I guess that would work out well. I personally don't like to leave my pups for longer than a few hours...but I have multiples. I know plenty of people who work and have pups and it works out just fine. People do have to pay the bills....lol especially the vet bills.
