Welcome to YT. Sorry I don’t have experience with your situation except that I had a older Yorkie that last her sight but did not bother her much, she just kept on going. We did have to be careful not to move anything in the house.
I can imagine if she lost her sight that quickly she could be scared. My little girl
lost her eye sight gradually and just continued to compensate.
