Default Allergies and breeding

Thank you ladies for your input. I talked to the Vet this afternoon and he told me the same thing. I would never want to put on any puppies what Gabi has gone through so far in her young life! :-( She just went into heat last night, so in December she will be spayed. She is, supposedly, from very good blood lines, so we thought it would be a shame to spay her without letting her have at least one litter of which we would keep one. But I can't do that under the circumstances. Makes me wonder if one of her parents had allergies and we weren't told about it, or if, in fact, the allergies were caused by over vaccinating as I have learned is a very common occurrence. Not knowing, I can't take the chance. :-(
