What do you recommend? I don't want to feed just id. Yet the poop is firm. had Jojo to the vet for itching. Bathing with hexaderm shampoo and rubbing fur with coconut oil.

Two months ago Cali had a pancreatitis attack that scared the beejeezus out of me - several days in the ICU and all that. Now she is doing great and her lab work is just about perfect BUT I am never putting her (and me) through that again. I was always a food fanatic but now have her on Royal Canin ID for meals sprinkled with dehydrated chicken bits (yes bought a dehydrator and grind the dehydrated chicken up pretty fine so she does not pick it out) and use the Hills ID for treats, or sometimes Cheerios when we are doing agility because she can eat those quickly.

Never thought, of course, that I would have to use the prescription food, but if her vets say that is what she needs then so be it, and we are doing very well
