Our 4 year old Malachi was diagnosed with a uti and put on zenaquin. He has been on it 3 weeks. He appears much better but the vet wanted to do a BTA antigen test for cancer which came back positive for bladder cancer. The sample was one I furnished and lab work took 4 days from receipt of sample. With Malachi having had only 1 prior uti was surprised vet wanted to do this test and then says it is 50/50 in accuracy and several urinalysis have shown decreases in bacteria. The last was "nearly"clear. I think I would want more info on your girl before she is cut on. Good luck.
