 fur
I do not have a problem with fur in it's proper place. There are many parts of the world where it is cold and the natives wear fur for warmth.
They hunt the seal, polar bears, otter, beavers, etc..they use the entire animal for survival..that is fine with me. I do believe as the Scriptures tell us that God made the animals for our use, but not abuse...few Americans need to wear fur, we have wool and man made fabrics.
I would never tell a Mongolian or Eskimo they are wrong for wearing fur...the same with the American Indian when they killed the buffalo. White men killed buffalo for sport, American Indians respected the buffalo, it meant live or death for them. |
