It does sound more like reverse sneeze to me. I have had a few pups over the years with CT....they don't always sound exactly the same.

Watch him carefully when he is doing it.....usually with a reverse sneeze, you will see an even exchange of air...inspiration and expiration. If they really get to coughing with CT, you don't see as much air going in. Hope that makes sense.

The only true way to diagnose CT is to have a flouroscopy done....sometimes you can see it on an xray; but, I think that is a waste of money because it does not always show!. If it does not show up on the xray it does not mean a pup does not have CT. So, don't let anyone talk you into an xray just for diagnosing CT!
