They had a 3 boy litter, kept one (Teddy), gave one to my sister in law and Otto to a close friend. The problem was that after 7+ months I believe a human baby came into the picture and well, apparently Otto had a lot of misunderstandings with such baby, they tried to make them get along but looks like it was barking day and night, after a while they took the hard decision to give Otto away. When the breeder heard this she came back to rescue Otto. She loves all her dogs! She tried to keep him but now the problem was that Otto and his brother are both alpha types and they kept fighting all day long over their mom, Vela. Thats when they heard that my wife was looking to adopt (behind my back lol) and since her sister owns Thiago, Ottos brother and she is fantastic with her dogs, she said well, he will be in a nice home with lots of love. Her whole family cried for hours when we picked up Otto as they love him very much, they ask for pictures almos daily and send him gifts.
Below a pic of Otto and his mom, Vela (notice the similarity!) | Yes there is a similarity, they are just adorable. Just wonderful that you know Otto's past and he was LOVED in both homes. All the photos you have posted he looks very happy, so I have to assume he is adjusting well to his new home and family.
