I tell you, in the long run they are well worth the big bucks. The price is crazy high, but they are so well made I expect that my BGE will far out last me and will be enjoyed by my kids (or at least one of them
) and perhaps even my grandkids.
It is so efficient with charcoal that I use less than half of what my son uses in his kettle doing the same cook. And even better when you have finished cooking your meal, you shut it down and still have good charcoal to start your next meal.
