It sounds like she may have had a scare. Playing like "I'm going to get you..." can scare a tiny puppy since we look likes giants to them.
The aggressive snarling, growling could be that her mouth is sensitive since she's teething and maybe your daughter's touch is too much for her so Ginger doesn't want her near. Maybe someone who has had more experience with sort of acting-out can help. I don't have children in the house anymore so I can't recommend what to do in this instance.
