We used bacon flavored Benadryl for Jo when we moved from Illinois to Florida last year. We drove for several hours the first day, spent the night and finished the drive on the second day and Jo was fine. He did sleep in the car but there wasn't much else for him to do...however, when we stopped along the way and that night he was right back to his usual, active puppy self.
