AND they do feeding trials. It is one thing to go trying different foods for healthy pups and yet another when it comes to those with medical issues. I don't play around with that stuff. My Olivia was given one year when first diagnosed with PLN...she lived 4 more years and I am quite sure her RX food had a lot to do with it.
Years ago, I adopted Cody a 9 year old with renal issues. He was put on Purina NF and his kidney values started to improve immediately. He lived for another 4 years after that.
Time and time again I have seen RX foods work.
