I am so very sorry for your loss. Little Madison sounds like she was an incredible family member and her loss will be felt for many years to come.
When it came time to say Good-Bye to our 15 year old Boxer, her trusted veterinarian came to our home and eased her out of her pain and suffering while my husband held her in his arms and I held her paw. I know everyone isn't as lucky as we are, having such an incredible vet team, so the Laps of Love organization would definitely fill a huge need.
We knew that Boo's end was imminent, her vet had told us as much. It will always be a comfort knowing that she was able to spend her last days, hours, minutes peacefully at home comforted by familiar sights and smells and surrounded by those who loved her most. |
