OK... so...
I had to change the data for my new Yorkie's chip. When I talked to the Rep, she recommended that I also get an orange collar with a name & phone number on it. She said this would be a "visual" in case she got out, then some dog people and most all professional dog people know that this is an "inside pet" and has gotten out. Is this statement true about "most all know" about the color orange?
She also stated that orange has a high visibility impact (I agree) so others can spot a collar better on a lost dog and know that she belongs to somebody and not just a stray. This makes sense to me also.
I just wanted to share what was told to me by someone who is in the profession of lost pets and get some feedback about "most all know". Thanks for reading.
