After that was removed we had to make some changes. We changed to Origen Puppy food supplemented with fresh fruit and veggies. We use earthbath hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner. They have a great dry shampoo for in the RV if needed.
But the CURE to the looking oily, dry, frizzled, frazzled, etc within a day or two of bath was a 100% BOAR BRISTLE brush. It distributes the oils through the coat, stimulates the follicles, and she loves it!! She comes running when the brush comes out and just relaxes. I am very soft in the stroke so as not to irritate her skin. It keeps her looking just bathed and we have easily stretched out bathing to 2+ weeks. I discovered this accidentally as we had one in a drawer and I was looking for a solution. |
I brush her daily and sometimes twice if she had a very active day and looks tangled. It's quick and easy.
