Thanks Phil for posting that thread. I am in the process of culling for more research.

And like Linda (Ladyjane) says I have seen no build up of research on effects on s/n on toy breeds not to mention specific to Yorkies.

How ever mid to large breeds are a different story imo.

For Yorkies though I would happily s/n at 8mths old or so. Leg hiking is not a health issue - but a behaviour one, as is also temperament supposed benefits. Temp is both genetic and how you train and raise your pup.
