Don't know if it makes any sense but on my yorkies I have found the smaller ones have their ears up earlier than the larger ones. One had ears up at 12 wks when I got her. One (8+ lbs now) didn't get hers up until almost 6 mo. The key for my bunch was keeping the ears shaved and I taped the ones who didn't have them up by 4 months...So far all are up! Though it really doesn't matter to me, I wanted them to have the chance to get them up. Though if they had stayed down I would have been delighted too. I have a 6 mo old Biewer boy who when he is tired lets one semi flop at the top. Its so cute to ask him if he is ready for bed!
